About Me
Hello Friends and THANKS for stopping by SincerelyPaige.com. I’m honored that you’d spend a little of your time here and my prayer is that through the words on this blog you’ll be encouraged and maybe learn a thing or two. So since you clicked on this link, here is a little info ABOUT ME:)
My Background: I was born in Mississippi and lived there until I was about 5 and then moved to Florida where I currently live. Every summer, Christmas and spring break my family and I would go back to MS to work on my grandparent’s farm. After having to pick watermelons, corn, peas, butterbeans and okra in the hot MS sun, I decided I wanted to do other things with my life when I grew up. I’m still trying to grow up, but along my journey I graduated from high school, went to college and started nail school all within a few months of each other. I worked as a nail tech all through college and finally graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
My Family: While going through college, God changed the course of my life by allowing me to meet my husband Clay.
We met at church and quickly discovered that this was a divine appointment that would change both of our lives forever. Clay was playing minor league baseball and fishing whenever he had the chance and I was pursuing my journalism career and God changed our plans shortly after we got married at the tender age of 21. Those first years of marriage were filled with many ups, downs and late night fishing trips foreshadowing our future to come. Clay is now my very own Captain Clay fishing full time and then designing websites when the weather is bad:) We’re going on 11 years of marriage now and through those early years I somehow finally finished college and continued working as a nail tech. Just before our 5th anniversary, we were blessed with our first son Cade who’s now 5.
Then about 18 months later we were blessed again, this time with our daughter Claire, who’s almost 4.
I also have a great set of parents, a beautiful sister and two amazing brothers. Plus an awesome set of in-laws and the cutest niece and most handsome nephews. My family is very important to me and has been the thing God has used most in making me like Him.
My Ministry: I have always been involved in some type of Bible study or small group and over the past several years I have found myself leading women and encouraging them in whatever journey they have found themselves on. As a nail tech I have had the privilege of getting to know some amazing women and been a part of God working one on one between two friends. As a Bible study leader I have learned the truth of God’s word and experienced the power of lives being transformed through meeting and praying together. I love to see God work and my prayer is that you will find encouragement and friendship through the posts on this site.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and I look forward to sharing more and getting to know each of you.
Sincerely,
Paige
