The Noticer by Andy Andrews, is one of those books that you will want to give away by the time your through with it. Not because it’s bad, but because it’s so good you will want all your friends to read it. Especially those friends needing a change of perspective in life. The story line in The Noticer takes place in Orange Beach, Alabama amongst a group of ordinary people touched by an extraordinary man named “Jones.” From the first chapter you will be drawn into the lives of these characters and have a hard time distinguishing whether or not you are reading fact or fiction.
The stories told in the book are about people facing different uncertainties in their lives and just when they are at a crossroad a man by the name of Jones comes into their life to offer them hope and a new perspective. Jones has a gift of “noticing” what other people do not and he speaks to the places of the heart that have been hardened by life’s circumstances.
This book has so many great nuggets of truth and wisdom interwoven throughout the pages. One of my favorite lines is, “stop letting your history control your destiny.” So many of us allow our histories and past mistakes to control the destiny that is waiting ahead for us. This, along with many other truths throughout the book, will inspire you to live life with a new perspective.
The Noticer will now be one of my favorite “must reads” and I hope you too will pick up a copy and a few extra for your friends. If you’d like to know more about The Noticer feel free to follow the link below.

Paige, I just downloaded this book to my Kindle (yes…Larry and my mom got me a Kindle!) Anyway, I can’t wait to read this book–I’ve recently read 3 others of his and they are outstanding. We’ll have to have a book chat later…
