This is my good friend Tania and her husband Don. Tania is expecting a little boy named Tre in a few weeks, and today many of her friends from her small group surprised her with a baby shower. The little boy in Tania’s womb is one of the most prayed over and extraordinary little one ever created by the hands of Almighty God. There’s no doubt that the call on this little guy’s life is going to be great because of a few women who’ve prayed.
You see Tre has been covered in prayer since before he was even conceived. His mommy chose to join a small group of women who met weekly for a time of fellowship, prayer and bible study. At one of the meetings Tania announced that she was expecting again and all of her friends have had the privilege of standing with her praying for this little miracle growing inside of her.
The months have been slowly going by for Tania, but through this time of knitting Tre together in his mother’s womb, God has been knitting together a group of ladies whose friendship will last a life time. They’ve gathered, studied, cried, laughed and most importantly prayed for one another over the past year that they have been meeting. God has saved marriages, homes, jobs and so much more through the friendships and prayers of these women, and today they celebrated by surprising Tania with a baby shower.
So why I am I telling you all this you might ask? It’s because I’ve seen how many miracles have come out of the faithfulness of a few who meet together and pray together, and I would love to see all of my friends experience answered prayers and close frienships like these ladies have. So if you don’t have a small group already, then I encourage you to find one or even start one of your own. It’s a lot easier than you would think, and the rewards and far greater than you could ever imagine.
Congratulations Tania and Don! I can’t wait to meet your newest addition.
Sincerely,
Paige

Thank you Paige. I am so blessed to have friends like you and everyone in my small group. And for anyone who is contemplating a small group, I highly recommend it. As Paige said, we laugh, we cry, and we live life together. One members’ hardship, as well as one’s joy, is shared by all members of the group. I could not have survived the past year without the wonderful women of my small group, and I can’t wait to celebrate the birth of Tre with everyone. Thank you to all my friends that make life so sweet.
Tania,
I’m so encouraged by you and all these ladies. You each amaze me and challenge me in my own walk with Christ. I keep hearing about all you girls are doing and it just blows me away.
Thanks for being such a great example to follow.
