Bowling with Kinisha the Gorilla

Over the weekend Cade, my 5yr old, was allowed to bring Kinsha the gorilla home from school. Now Kinisha is not a real gorilla of course, but rather the stuffed kind that is treated like a member of the family with whomever she goes home with. Kanisha has to go where ever the family goes, so we took Kanisha bowling. Later we’ll journal about Kanisha’s bowling experience for the class journal, but for now here are a few pictures of our outing.

Kinisha was buckled up of course in her very own car seat next to Mr. Cade

With his orange 5lb ball he was ready to bowl a strike…and he did!

Claire seen here doing her bowling stretches:)

She didn’t want any help carrying the ball that was almost as big as she is.

They have these cool ramps now for kids to use while bowling. She even got a spare a time or two using this.

One final picture of Cade and Kinisha for the journal for school.

Kinisha behaved well at the bowling alley and the kids behaved pretty good too. If your ever bored, bowling with a gorilla, even if it’s fake, is a sure fire way to spice up your afternoon.

We all had a great time and made a memory to say the least.

Thanks for checking in to read about our bowling outing with Kinisha.

P.S. I still have no idea how the gorilla got that name or what in the world it means. Must be a preschool thing:)

Sincerely,
Paige
