As part of the Thomas Nelson book review blogger team the latest book I have read is, The Jesus book. The ultimate Who, What, When, Where, and Why book about Jesus. In this beautifully illustrated children’s book, author Stephen Elkins, helps children understand the Jesus that loves them so much. In this book kids will learn,

-Who Jesus Is
-What Jesus Did
-What Jesus Taught
-When it Happened
- Where it Happened
- Why it Happened
- How it Happened

Each story is short enough in length to keep the attention of young readers and yet in depth enough to teach them all about Jesus. The stories also have the scripture verses to refer to and beautiful illustrations that depict the message of the story.

Personally, each chapter I read was written in a clear concise manner that the kids enjoyed listening to and I even learned a few things. As an avid reader of books, I’m always looking for a book that will engage my children and help me teach them about the Jesus who gave up his life so they could spend eternity with him. The Jesus Book is a book I would highly recommend to any parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle who wants to teach their little one’s about Jesus.

Sincerely,
Paige
